Uploading & storing your images

2/10: Visual Storytelling 2
Using photography to show your vision and experience.
Making & Printing Contact Sheets in Photoshop
Editing and Adjusting images in Photoshop
WEEK 2 ASSIGNMENT: SHOOT AT LEAST 40 IMAGES THAT DOCUMENT CONCERNS OR PROBLEMS THAT EFFECT YOUR COMMUNITY.

Week 3
2/15: Edit, Adjust and Print Your 3 Best Photos from Weeks 1&2
Discussion of Week 2 Assignment
Choose three photos that most accurately reflect your community's concerns and assets.
Edit, Adjust and Print those images so that we can discuss them with the writing students on Thursday.

2/17: Discussion & Collaboration with Writing Students
Contextualizing and storytelling: VOICE our work so far
(VOICE: Voicing Our Individual and Collective Experience)
What are the main issues and themes that have emerged from our work so far?
WEEK 3 ASSIGNMENT: SHOOT AT LEAST 100 IMAGES THAT DOCUMENT THREE ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ISSUES PRESENTLY EFFECTING BOTH YOU AND YOUR COMMUNITY.

Print contact sheets of the images shot over the last 2 weeks
Do certain images fit together to tell a compelling story about an issue that effects both you and your community?
Start grouping your strongest images into small, thematic series
